Application submission is now closed for the 2025 Class of AMSSM Fellows. New Fellows will be announced to the AMSSM membership after the first of the year and honored at the 2025 Annual Meeting.

AMSSM Member Chad Beattie, MD Plans Concussion Talk for Local Community |

The Herald News recently featured Chad Beattie, MD and discussed his plans to offer a presentation about concussion in time for the new sports and school season to start. He will present “Concussion Myths and Facts” in an easy-to-understand format to athletes, parents, coaches, and others in the community at Fairhaven High School Performing Arts Center in North Dartmouth, MA. Dr. Beattie, a member of the medical staff of St. Anne’s Hospital’s Center for Orthopedic Excellence, is also head of the Comprehensive Concussion Clinic at Hawthorn Medical Associates.
