PBS: Two AMSSM Members Lend Expertise to Concussion Documentary AMSSM members Joseph Congeni, MD and William Meehan III, MD, contributed to a PBS documentary that is being aired on 387 stations across the country in fall 2013. THE SMARTEST TEAM™: Making High School Football Safer is an hour-long documentary showing how football programs and athletes can reduce concussions and their effects by playing smarter. The film follows a high school football team in Oklahoma during the 2012 season to look at steps they are taking to safely manage the growing concussion epidemic. Click Here for more information. |
