Broad Differential Diagnosis:
1. Legg-Calve-Perthes disease
2. Developmental dysplasia of the hip
3. Slipped Capital femoral epiphysis
4. Septic Arthritis
5. Osteomyelitis
6. Transient synovitis
7. Muscle Strain
8. Soft Tissue contusion
9. Muscle Strain/tendon sprain
10. Avulsion fracture
11. Stress Fracture
12. Avascular necrosis
13. Pubic symphysis dislocation or fracture
14. Referred pain from: lumbar spine stress fracture or from sacroiliac joint (sacral illitis)
15. Hip abnormality: chondral lesion, synovitis, labral tear
