Broad Differential Diagnosis:
1. Internal derangement of the knee: ACL tear and/or meniscal tear
2. Infectious Arthritis: bacterial, fungal, or Lyme disease
3. Synovial pathology: pigmented villonodular synovitis, lipoma arborescens or synovial osteochondromatosis
4. Rheumatologic process: reactive arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis
5. Loose body synovitis
