Right Shoulder X-ray: normal
Right Shoulder MRI: remarkable for atrophy of the superior aspect of the infraspinatus; there was no cyst identified adjacent to the glenoid or within the suprascapular or spinoglenoid notch.
EMG: right suprascapular nerve injury, occurring at the level of the spine of the scapula affecting only the infraspinatus muscle.
-Very small, but present 1+ to 2+ nerve relation potential and positive sharp waves in the right infraspinatus of small amplitude, indicating chronicity
-Evidence of reduced recruitment of very large motor units on muscle activation testing
