Broad Differential Diagnosis:
After initial evaluation, the most likely broad diagnosis was a lumbosacral radiculopathy due to a herniated disc, likely at the level of L5/S1. Another potential diagnosis included pain from hip osteoarthritis. Also, her symptoms could have been related to a vascular issue such as a deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or arterial occlusion, though this is lower on the differential.
