Lab Studies:
None

Other Studies:
CT Head without Contrast
1. No evidence of intracranial injury/abnormality. No evidence of bony or soft tissue injury.

CT Cervical Spine without Contrast
Case Photo #1 Case Photo #2 Case Photo #3
1. Comminuted fractures involving C5 and C6 vertebra. Retropulsion of bone at C5.
2. Unilateral perched to jumped facet on the left of C4 on C5 with associated facet fractures. Additional facet fractures on the left at C3 and C4. Tiny facet traumatic fracture inferiorly on the right at C4.
3. Fractures of lamina C3, C5, and C6 with displacement at C5.
4. Anterolisthesis of C4 on C5 with slight retrolisthesis of C5 on C6.
5. Moderate severe narrowing of neural canal at C4-5 and C5. Moderate narrowing of canal at C5-6. Slight narrowing of neural canal at the upper to mid C6 level.

CT Angiogram Neck
1. No evidence of vascular injury or other significant vascular abnormality.
MRI Cervical Spine without Contrast
Case Photo #4 Case Photo #5 Case Photo #6
1. Acute spinal cord injury spanning from C4/C5 through C5/C6.
2. Multiple fractures as described above, with the most significant injury at C4/C5 where there are ligamentum flavum tears, disc injury, anterior and posterior longitudinal ligament tear, and anterolisthesis of C4 upon C5, with a left sided perched facet.
3. Burst fracture of the C5 vertebral body with retropulsion of fracture fragments causing severe spinal canal stenosis, with adjacent acute cord injury.
4. Left C5/C6 ligamentum flavum tear. Vertically oriented C6 vertebral body fracture.
5. Mild nonspecific edema in the interval between the basion and the dens. However, the basion dens interval is within normal limits at 7.5 mm, and no adjacent ligament tear or prevertebral edema is seen.
