An initial X-ray of the left knee on presentation was normal.

Two weeks after the initial presentation an MRI of the left knee showed a medial tibial condyle fracture with surrounding marrow edema in the medial tibial condyle, extending into the midline. Case Photo #1 , Case Photo #2 , and Case Photo #3 .

An x-ray of left knee three weeks after initial presentation showed a non-displaced fracture in the posterior, medial aspect of the proximal tibial metaphysis, compatible with stress fracture seen on recent MRI. Case Photo #4 and Case Photo #5
