Working Diagnosis:
Stage II Nodular Sclerosing Hodgkins Lymphoma

Treatment:
Four Cycles of Adriamycin, Bleomycin, Vinblastine, Dacarbazine (ABVD) with very reassuring follow up PET scan after two cycles of ABVD.

Outcome:
Back in school part time and helping to coach her college lacrosse team. Currently finishing her fourth cycle of chemotherapy. Active in light aerobic and resistance training. Graduated return to play when chemotherapy finished and blood counts stable.

Author's Comments:
This case is not a diagnostic dilemma but does highlight the importance of the pre-participation physical exam as more than a "safe to participate" evaluation.

Editor's Comments:
This case underscores the importance of performing a good physical exam. It also demonstrates that as primary care sports medicine physicians we always need to provide comprehensive care for our patients.
