Complete blood count and comprehensive metabolic panel lab studies were unremarkable.

Other Studies:
Case Photo #1 X-Ray lumbar spine was unremarkable.
Case Photo #2 X-Ray pelvis was unremarkable.
Case Photo #3 MRI lumbar spine: Extradural mass or mass-like process measuring 3.3 x 2.5 x 1.8 cm, probably extradural and posterior to the thecal sac at the L3-L4 level resulting in severe spinal canal stenosis with compression of the adjoining cauda equina. This finding could reflect a mass of neural sheath origin such as a neurofibroma or schwannoma rather than a meningioma or posttraumatic abnormality such as a hematoma or synovial cyst with proteinaceous products alone.
