Lab Studies:
Normal results of complete blood count, complete metabolic rate, thyroid stimulating hormone, creatine kinase, ferritin, magnesium, ammonia, urine organic acids, plasma amino acids, lactic acid, acetylcholine receptor antibody panel, anti-nuclear antibodies, and ganglioside antibodies.

Other Studies:
All initial work-up was normal, including a CTA of the abdomen and pelvis, MRI of the brain, cervical spine, lumbar spine, and pelvis, MRA of the pelvis with hip in flexion and extension, electromyography, and ankle-brachial index (ABI) testing. A repeat CTA of the abdomen and pelvis six months later showed interval development of an infrarenal aortic dissection Case Photo #1 , Case Photo #2 . Repeat ABIs found a significant drop of blood flow to the right leg of 0.61 after exercise and required 9 minutes for recovery.
