Bilateral standing 4-view XRay: The patellae are hypoplastic and deviated laterally. No acute fracture or dislocation. No juxtaarticular erosions. No joint space narrowing. Case Photo #1 Case Photo #2 Case Photo #3
Right Anterior knee sports US: Patellar and quadriceps tendons are intact
with normal fibrillar pattern. Significant hypoplasia of the patella with a rounded 2.0 x 1.5 cm hyperechoic structure within the extensor mechanisms without surrounding or internal vascular supply or overt tendon disruption. The anterior cruciate ligament origin is visualized just medial to the lateral femoral condyle and intact. Case Photo #4 , Case Photo #5
