Patient Presentation:
An 18-year-old high school football player presented at the sideline with the complaint of vague left shoulder pain without any limiting range of motion.

History:
He sustained a hard tackle during the previous play and described excessive motion over his left clavicle. Symptoms were worse with overhead motion and were non-radiating. He denied any numbness or tingling, SOB, HA, or dizziness. The remainder of ROS was negative

Physical Exam:
Initial physical exam:
Gen: Able to walk to the sideline without difficulty. No signs of distress.
C-spine: Normal
Left shoulder:
Trapezius muscle tender to palpation.
Mild AC joint tenderness.
No SC joint tenderness.
Full ROM on initial exam.
Full strength.
Neurovascular system is intact.
