Other Studies:
An MRI taken 2 days post-injury revealed a chronic complete tear of the left ACL. The tibial remnant of the ACL appeared to have healed horizontally onto the PCL Case Photo #1 . The medial meniscus was also torn along the posterior horn Case Photo #2 . All other ligaments and structures were intact. X-rays of the left knee were normal.

Consultations:
The patient consulted with an orthopedic surgeon, who discussed the options of meniscal repair or meniscectomy.
