X-ray of the left humerus and shoulder revealed a linear ossific density medial and anterior to the proximal biceps, concerning for avulsion fracture Case Photo #1 , Case Photo #2 . Subsequent MRI confirmed a pectoralis major avulsion fracture with 6mm of medial displacement from the humerus Case Photo #3 , Case Photo #4 . Rotator cuff tendons and the glenoid labrum were intact.
