X-ray: Large central sclerotic lesion in the distal to mid femoral diaphysis with cortical thickening and periosteal reaction and soft tissue calcifications. Case Photo #1 Case Photo #2 Case Photo #3
Subsequent MRI: Very large highly suspicious marrow replacing mass lesion measuring approximately 33.7cm. Suspected to contain chondroid matrix, most likely representing large chondrosarcoma.
Needle Biopsy Pathology: Chondrosarcoma, mixoid type majority grade 1 morphology with grade 2 foci.
